Role Summary / Purpose

As an entry level Epicor ERP Manufacturing Consultant, you will be part of a dedicated team of professionals participating in consulting engagements. You will initially be aligned with senior consultants and work closely with project managers and project teams on smaller engagements following a work plan and using industry best practices. The long term goal is for you to gain practical knowledge and manufacturing and supply chain expertise so you can add value to projects and work more independently with clients. With time you will be able to keep smaller projects running on time and smoothly while being able to anticipate issues that may impact the project plan.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Learn Epicor ERP manufacturing and supply chain management software
  • Business requirements gathering and gap analysis
  • Assist with process design, process documentation, integration testing, data conversions, report development, end user training
  • Test, train and troubleshoot system for client while being the initial support contact for the client.
  • Learn how to configure ERP software with future goals in mind.
  • Help clients increase the value they are getting from their technology by training on existing software and discussing and educating clients in additional products and services.
  • Learn how to accurately estimate a variety of project tasks.
  • Learn how to perform work plans, identify resource requirements, understand and establish priorities for available resources and monitor the performance of project tasks.
  • Learn project management skills and how to ensure that the project deliverables are completed on time and anticipate issues or conditions that may impact the original estimate or project budget.
  • Prepare Project Activity reports in a timely manner.
  • Punctually enter project related time and expenses into project accounting system.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and insurance.
  • Ability to travel in US and Canada.


  • Bachelor’s degree – Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Software Engineering, Software Development, Computer Science, MIS, IS, IT, Education or related degree.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Familiar with MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio.
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand software, research features and functions.
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations and supply chain management a plus.
  • Accounting knowledge a plus.
  • Experience in educating or training a plus.
  • Experience with ERP software a plus.
  • Must be a team player and possess a positive attitude.
